JHI’s Founder & President, Jay Hoehl, has been directly involved in recycling and reuse since his days hauling surplus WWII naval steel while attending high school and studying engineering at college in Oregon. After a decade of working as a computer programmer in the 70’s, he discovered an unmet need for managing the electronic surplus coming out of the rapidly growing electronic manufacturing industry. He left programming in 1980 to focus on meeting this need full-time and never looked back.
JHI quickly grew from a one-man operation into a successful small business. A lifelong employee, Jake Hoehl became CEO of the corporation in 2016. Along with their skilled and knowledgeable team, Jay and Jake have and will continue to keep JHI on the forefront of Industrial Electronic Surplus Management.
Total Customer Satisfaction is our priority. We do our best to understand our customers’ needs and each employee at JHI strives to meet those needs as effectively and efficiently as possible. We value honesty and fairness in everything we do and want our reputation with our customers to speak for itself.
